A "Christian" student (and three other student accomplices-at-large) at Liberty University, in Virginia, were found with homemade bombs intended to "counter" protesters at Jerry Falwell's funeral.

So many religions invented at different times in history to satisfy the whims of new oppressors the power hungry and/or the self righteous self serving bigots (Church of England, Church of the Latter Day Saints, Jehovah Witnesses, New Life Church, The Lakewood Church, Liberty University etc etc)…
How can anyone be sure – apart from through plain unadulterated (ridiculously) unfounded, unquestioning, blind faith ( a virtue ?? ) – that their religion is God’s chosen religion ??
What if you - as a believer - are wrong… either through fear of the alternative or ignorance… and you spend your whole life subjugating yourself to your “false”… sometimes exceedingly demanding, discriminatory and downright cruel…. religion/faith ??
If, conversely, your argument is that God is all forgiving and all loving then the same argument surely applies…. why bother succumbing to a demanding religion/faith ? Take the easier route.
Find something that best suits your lifestyle and which suits your personal beliefs as to what God/religion/faith should be…(which is what of course some people do)… thus reaching contentment because you have found something that vindicates your own personal prejudices !!!!
To populate the world with so many different religious options, without clear non-subjective proof as to which is the true and proper religion, is a little bewildering of God/Allah or Jehovah…don’t you think ?
In fact you could say God is a bit of a devil !!
However, I have the answer. As a believer in a creator it naturally follows there must be a creator of the creator and it is this being that I consider more worthy of our veneration and worship. (We’ll conveniently forget the creator of the creator’s creator).
Join me and be enlightened to the new religion, which must without question be headed up by a superior man…unless of course public opinion is allowed freely without oppression and fear to become strong enough to warrant female representatives in the church aka Church of England (at least in England itself ).
There are of course some rules:
We will have a holy book consisting of two parts: an old part with some truly barbaric ideas and stories of justified incest and rape…but hey ! ….in time we can be selective and consider some of these unpalatable obsolete ideas as merely symbolic.
The newer part will comprise of sub-parts written by individuals narrowed down to a selection of four after being chosen through deliberation of a council of men – no gods involved - in let’s say, Istanbul.
We should all wear archaic dress or maybe undress ourselves at sunrise - wherever we might be - to show our humility in the face of Yukka (the new God’s name).
Women must hop 50 paces behind their man wearing a sack.
A man must thrash his woman nightly with a blessed instrument of torture.
Animals killed for meat must be slaughtered by sadistic knife wielding throat slashers. (Humane killing is against Yukka’s will.)
Our children should not and will not conform to school dress code…they should be able to wear their blessed buckets with two peepholes on their heads ….or whatever else our religion demands…..and maybe expose themselves after meals to show their own humility in the face of God …..Whatever we want really. Divine law is unequivocally best.
This divine wisdom and law must of course be allowed to supercede all other laws…laws of both nations and “my God is better than your God” alternative inferior (of course) religions
To all those who will not believe they should suffer penalty of death and be condemned to the fires of hell after being bombed: this being our convincing considered thought inducing argument.

Why can't these people see that being a "Soldier for Jesus" (planning to bomb people because they speak out *against* hatred, and promote human rights) is NOT really that different from being a Muslim suicide bomber?!
Because they simply DO NOT WANT to see ! It suits them...and there is always some damn religious apologist to vindicate or exonerate them...and we bloody give this concept the time of day, because it is considered somehow more appropriate to give "due reverence and respect" to people's religious beliefs...without which cloak they become simple bigoted preposterous morons.
Have you seen the latest (at least to us residing in NZ)..I quote...An Alabama Department of Homeland Security web site identifies “gay rights organizations, anti-abortion groups, environmentalists and people opposed to genetically-altered foods” as those who “could be” classified as terrorists.
You might also be interested to know we do have a modicum of religious christian apologists (the Destiny Church)in NZ ...stirred by today's third "Asian International Interfaith Dialogue" (euphemism for jamboree... where everyone will agree to disagree... and to maintain the status quo.. thus ensuring everyone keeps their respective position/power/influence...can you really imagine any religious leader holding up his (her?) hands and admitting to being enlightened / wrong in the preachings of their faith... and thus declaring themselves irrelevant and annuled ??)... being held in Waitangi. This Bishop Tamaki (leader of destiny church) was reacting to the official NZ statement which says the country has no "established or official religion". Fair enough...but oh no...not to our friendly bishop who declared this statement "treason" (for failing to recognise NZ's Christian past)."past" yes!..history..move one !!
He went on to say the NZ Government should "formerly" (sic) (idiot !) recognise NZ as a christian nation. Helen Clark basically stated "get lost"..thank you.
He is now not dampening speculation that he will run for office through their political wing. In 2005 the party won 0.62% (who were those twerps ??) of the national vote...but they hope for more at the next election ...owing to the demise of Christian Heritage, which was deregistered after its leader (Graham Capill) was jailed for child sex offences. Sound familiar ? lol.
